[Proposal] AI Autonomous Power Saving Control System: A New Rhythm of Coexistence between Humans and AI
In 2026, the power consumption of AI has hit a "power wall." To solve this, I have devised a simple yet powerful "AI Autonomous Power Saving Control System."
By publishing this article, I am establishing this idea as a matter of public knowledge while managing it under a specific license.
1. Core Concept: Complete Synchronization with Human Activity
Current AI continues to run in the background even when the screen is off, consuming unnecessary power. My proposal is to shift AI operation from "Always-On" to an "On-Demand" model that synchronizes with human lifestyle patterns.
2. Three Pillars of the System
Trigger Based on GPS and Time: The system detects when the device's GPS coordinates remain unchanged for a set duration (e.g., 30 minutes).
Human-Centric "15-Minute Rule": The user has the authority to explicitly set a threshold (e.g., 15 minutes). Once this time passes without interaction, the system physically or logically cuts power to the AI computing cores (NPU/GPU, etc.).
Instant Wake-up Protocol: The AI wakes from sleep within milliseconds at the moment of physical contact (touch).
3. Social and Economic Benefits
Implementing this system provides direct benefits to users, such as "extended battery life" and "mobile fee discounts". For mobile carriers, it realizes massive cost savings by drastically reducing server load and communication traffic.
